Intelligent facade system with active thermal protection

This book deals with active thermal protection of buildings. It is about a new heating and cooling system which might be use as a renewable energy source. Active thermal protection of buildings is represented by panels built in tubes, which are applied into the facade of envelope. The book explains the principle of panels, montage, technological process of production of panels, energy consideration and their practical application. The mensioned panels can be used in new and exisisting (renovated) buildings as well.

Doc. Ing. Daniel Kalús, PhD is university teacher since 1993. He also leads the section of heating at the Department of Building Services, Faculty of Civil Engineering in Bratislava. All his life is devoted to construction, building equipment, energy saving, renewable energy, energy efficiency in buildings, energy certification.
